A strong and credible name in Indian journalism, Anurag Chaddha, Editor-in-Chief of News1India, has been appointed as the National Vice President of the Editors Club of India. This significant appointment was made by the club’s President, Amitabh Agnihotri, and is being seen as an important step toward organizational expansion and stronger leadership.
Anurag Chaddha has been active in journalism for over 25 years, beginning his career with a local cable network. Through hard work, fearlessness, and an unwavering commitment to truth, he established a strong presence at Zee News, one of India’s leading national news channels. During his tenure, he reported on several major scams and corruption cases with courage, including the Bhushan Steel factory blast and the Yadav Singh corruption case. His investigative journalism not only exposed critical truths but also supported law enforcement agencies in their efforts.
While at Zee News, Chaddha also played a key role in launching regional channels such as Zee News MP & Chhattisgarh and Zee News UP/UK, significantly expanding the network’s reach and influence across key states.
In 2016, he founded News1India with the vision of redefining journalism and delivering credible and impactful news to audiences. Under his leadership, News1India quickly established a strong identity and built a robust presence across digital platforms.
