He remained a prominent face of the Sahara Media Network for a long period, where he served in key positions such as National Bureau Chief, Political Editor, NCR Channel Head, and Editor. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of TV 27 and also serves as the President of the Noida Media Club.

A native of Fatehpur (Uttar Pradesh), Alok completed his graduation and LLB from Kanpur University and studied journalism at Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. He began his career with Aaj and Swatantra Bharat and joined Rashtriya Sahara in 1997.
