Cyber Crime Expert Prof. Triveni Singh (IPS) has Been Appointed as a Member of the Advisory Wing of the Editors Club of India.

Renowned for his expertise in tackling cybercrime and advancing technological enforcement, Prof. Triveni Singh (IPS) has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Wing of the Editors Club of India. The announcement was made by National President Amitabh Agnihotri during a dignified event held at the India International Centre, New Delhi.

Prof. Singh has served as SP, Cyber Crime in Uttar Pradesh Police and is regarded as one of India’s leading cyber policing experts. Over the course of his distinguished career, he has investigated more than 200 types of cybercrimes, leading to the arrest of thousands of offenders and the successful resolution of cyber fraud cases involving thousands of crores of rupees.

He has also overseen the administrative and technical supervision of 18 cybercrime police stations operating under various police commissionerates in Uttar Pradesh. Owing to his deep technical expertise in cyber investigations, he frequently serves as a resource person for leading institutions across the country.

Prof. Singh has delivered training sessions and lectures on cybercrime, financial fraud, and digital security at premier institutions such as the CBI Academy, Ghaziabad; Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy, Hyderabad; the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India; as well as various judicial academies, police training centers, and universities.

Sharing his professional insights, he has co-authored two widely discussed books with cyber security expert Amit Dubey—“Hidden Files: Tales of Cyber Crime Investigation” and “Hidden Files – Unlock,” which detail real-life cybercrime cases and investigative experiences.

For his outstanding contributions, Prof. Triveni Singh has received several national honors, including a Gallantry Medal from the President of India, a commendation certificate from the CBI Director, and the “India Cyber Cop of the Year” award by DSCI-NASSCOM in 2012. His work in cyber security and digital crime control has also been recognized on national and international platforms.

National President Amitabh Agnihotri stated that the inclusion of a seasoned and technically proficient expert like Prof. Triveni Singh is a significant addition to the Advisory Wing. His experience will provide valuable guidance to journalists, editors, and media organizations on issues related to cyber security, digital crime, and online fraud.

Members present at the event welcomed his appointment and expressed confidence that his guidance will further strengthen and enhance the effectiveness of the Advisory Wing of the Editors Club of India.
